Fortnightly competition # 2 Product Shot

Hefty1 Advertising PLC needs a product shot to appear in the national press for their biggest client; ACME Conglomerated.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take a picture that will sell squillions of product YYYYYYYs and earn us all lots of money to buy new Bentleys with.

The product can be absolutely anything you like; from baked beans to barn conversions (even cameras ). Even imaginary products are fair game for this competition.

I'll be judging this one based on how much your picture makes me desire the product you choose - for instance, I'd want a food shot to make my mouth water etc. Taglines/slogans will be permitted if you wish but are not compulsory and won't earn any extra credit - it'll be down to the picture as always.

Good luck everybody - competition will close at 6pm (GMT) on Wednesday 12th November.

Great subject indeed!
I'm surely entering this one, might have a photo that will do
Isn't there coming a comment section like with Vistas for this one?

OK, I'll start one - competition entries only in this thread from now on please (well, until it's over anyway!).

Don't forget - this competition is for photos taken during the next 2 weeks only! Oldies from your archives will be disallowed. Sorry to get tough but that's the rules!

I learnt a lot doing this which probably surprises those who can do these things!

The product is the knife which we have used hard for some years. So judge it by the photo not the battered state of the knife.

Pentax K10D with Vivitar 100mm macro 'plastic fantastic' sold to me at modest cost by a forum member. A piddly size like this in JPEG does not do justice to this amazing lens. The original is amazing.
