For the light

Here is another image i might get enlarged to a 10x8 (If I am lucky) because when I go to the Fuji shop, they can't get it all in.

Its excellent I think! The suns rays and reflections on the water are a lovely yellow, there's that sense of glaring brightness also as you look up towards the sun itself which feels very real. Plenty of atmosphere too.

Yes, I agree nice image with nice tone.

Beautifully tranquil, like the centre of a crunchy, don't care for the frame though

PS if you need help with resizing just get in touch.
Have you not thought about printing them yourself?

That's a lovely image that conveys the calm before sunset. I like the way the flare was controlled. The black frame does nothing for me however. Regarding your plan to print 10X8 you do know that as the Pentax sensor is a 3 to 2 ratio and 10X8 is 5 to 4 then some manipulation of your image is required to get it to a 5:4 ratio. Your image processing software should help do that for you. You are better sorting this yourself as it's probably an automated process at the printers.

These are common crop sizes. The 2x3 will naturally translate to (8x12)







I would resize so the longest side is 4096 pixels and save with the dpi setting at 300

I will probably get it done 8x6 is that a good size, or should I ask Fugi printers for an 8x10?

Oh sorry i didn't mean to be rude.

I think 8x10 actually improves the image as (IMO) cutting around a 5th off the bottom, which is relatively dark, concentrates attention on the better portion.

It also translates as a 12x8 if you want the whole thing larger

Photobox prices are not bad at all - you can just upload directly and choose to crop (if needed depending on the format).

So with 9x6 I could get the whole image in?

In whatever editing programme you use create 10x8 @ 300ppi new blank image. Resize your picture to 9x6 @ 300ppi and drag it onto the 10x8. You now have a white border all the way round. Give this file to the printer and ask for a 10x8 print

If so they don't seem to do 9X6 but do 12X8 - which is a directly related image ratio to 3X2. This would probably be best for your image.
If you still want to get images at 10X8 then it's probably best to ask someone who uses the same image processing software as you do as to how you translate your image to 10X8.
What image processing software do you use ? Maybe if someone else on here uses the same they can give you a step by step way of getting an image that would fit the 10X8 frame you were looking to have.
