Foggy Pysgodlyn Mawr

Took a trip to a water way local to me this morning, Was a shock getting up and out when still dark, even more of a shock to be walking in pitch black to get there before the sun was even thinking of getting anywhere near the horizon but the new years resolution was to get up and out more so it's a good start. A friend of mine joined me who is a Canon shooter and couldn't believe the detail I was getting as apposed to her 5Dmk3!

All taken with the K3ii & DA* 16-50mm. Cable release, tripod and no filters as there was minimal contrast due to the weather.

Was hoping for the sun to warm up and burst through, especially in the woods but alas it never came, the fog was just too dense.

This lone tree that was dead but surrounded by living trees with plenty of leaves on. I liked the way it looked rather isolated and alone.
