So did Pentax keep hold of your 250-600 then Danny? You were certainly pulling in the crowds...

They told me two years! Time to check the paperwork, methinks...

And a very nice (though expensive) head it was too

I'm proud to say I resisted everything on offer and came away empty with just the freebie reflector from Pentax, though I was very nearly tempted to risk some domestic disturbance and bring a 10-17mm home

Nice to meet some of you guys (and girl) and put names to faces.

Boys and their toys...

I had a play with the 645D. Luckily I couldn't stump up £9999.99 (body only)... I did play with the Samyang 85mm which was much nicer than I had thought it would be. Sadly, I missed out on the freebie film from Kodak. In fact, the woman I asked looked very puzzled and didn't seem to know what film was...

The most disappointing stall of all was Silverprint's. Their store is like an Aladdin's Cave or a sweetshop (depending on your preferences), their stand was almost completely bare (although I did get a money off coupon). Was I the only person there with a 35mm film camera slung over my shoulder?

Nice to put some names to faces.

Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Do I really screw my face up like that when looking through the viewfinder?

Notice how kind I am in not sticking my greasy nose on Dannys LCD screen

Sorry Kris, nobody noticed, we were all too busy drooling over Dannys lens
