Flucard. Users thoughts?

Been tempted by the Flucard

From the little I've read on it, there appears to be a delay between pressing the shutter on the tablet/phone and the camera reacting. This would make it useless for wildlife or macro photography with beasties.

Do those who have one find the info on a delay to be true.

Would still have an interest even if it is the case. What are experiences using a tablet as a big Liveview screen for landscapes and portraits, using a tablet to select the point of focus.

Finally, is it reliable, and how long does a full size jpeg take to load to the tablet?

I bought one when it first came out and have hardly used it since. I have not found any lag at all between pressing the button on my tablet and the camera reacting - I would say that it is fairly instantaneous. I was a bit disappointed that the resolution on my HD tablet is not higher ( 720). It is best used when there is no other wifi in operation as I find that the tablet will often default to my home wifi mid operation and then I have to go back into settings and reselect the flucard- this can be very annoying. One reason for lack of use is that my Nexus tablet does not seem to be bright enough for outside use when the sun is shining. It is a nice gadget for gadget minded people such as myself but would I spend money on this again? - I rather think not. I must try to make greater use of it and it is obviously an advantage that you do not have to bend down to look at the LCD screen on the camera, but that advantage will disappear if Pentax ever produces a DSLR with a tiltable screen. I would also be inteested to hear other folk's experiences with the flu card.
