I like the output from the MX-1 and Q-S1 cameras. The latter, coupled with the 15-45mm lens is very nice for flowers:

Good strong colours there, even in contrasty light. I like the reflection of the lighting angles and there's no blowout, so really dynamic range looks very good. Do those lenses have hoods? It looks like they do from these shots John. Close focusing ability is cleanly a plus as well ...I can understand why these little cameras are so well regarded. A good showcase of these cameras abilities, thanks !

I've got a 15-45 for the Q waiting for me in UK, I'm looking forward to trying it out when I get back, particularly after seeing these, thanks for posting John

There are hoiods for the lenses, but only the 01 prime comes with one included, a design very similar to the DA 40mm f/2.8 Limited. The telephotos need a bayonet hood and I use one . Always using a hood is an excellent idea, even with the best coatings.
Best regards, John
