Flowering Fly Trap

My Venus Fly Trap has now flowered:

So now we know what the flowers look like. This was shot on the Pentax MX-1, using a tripod.

I didn't know they flowered either John! It's quite a nice flower too, shown off well with the nice dark background. A successful shot I would say.

If you feed them bluebottles, the flowers are blue.

Hmmm, don't be tempted to get down and see if it has a nice smelling scent will you ... I can just see it now

Unusual though, I have never seen one flower before either.
