Well Flikr must back up their systems!
But do they back up the user content?
or is it that its uneconomic to restore one user's images?

I have multiple copies and back-ups of all my images that are on Flickr but the amount of work that restoring 1,342 images would take along with the groups, key words, descriptions, titles.... ARRGGHHH...
It seems utterly astonishing to me that there isn't a back-up that can be restored.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Four years of a free account on the same site that deleted his photo's is scant compensation for all the work he'd done putting them there in the first place...let's hope he was sensible enough to have them all backed up. If they did that to me I hardly think I'd risk putting them on there again.
