Flickr down for hours now

As a recent subscriber to Flickr's Pro service, I thought after a whole day they would have sorted out their website by now.

Yes, it's annoying but presumably part of the separation from Yahoo and necessary. They did announce it well in advance though.

Also as a recent subscriber to the Pro service, I have been receiving some help from the Flickr team with some problems logging in and changing passwords and have to say the service is very good.

It is back up now.

Like anything else it depends on how you use it , I suppose.

I hope when they have completed this it runs a lot faster than it has done in recent months.

I can see Flickr on PC, but it's not working properly, I keep getting " bad panda" thing when I try to upload, but then later , stuff is showing up. Contacts seem to have disappeared too.
Hopefully it's back up properly soon.

Painfully slow. First I tried to look at the 21 comments on one of my images, 15 minutes later I gave up. Then later I tried uploading just 5 images and three of them failed, clicked retry and 1 failed, clicked retry and all were ready so then I click Upload and it did the usual jump to about 75% but then sat there for over half an hour before I again gave up. Not convinced the switch to SmugMug is looking particularly a good one AND they've doubled the price!
There's an old saying ... if it ain't broke don't fix it. Flickr used to be superb.

I tried to upload the 5 images again after the above post at 15:10. I've left it going and it's still publishing; it's nearly 17:00

Not tried to upload but the site seems much faster this morning

Working well for me today, woke up by the sound of the mobile pining to notifications... #1 in Explore.
