Hi Alan,
How do you alter the display settings please?
I don't resize my photos when I upload so the full size is available - not that anyone would want to nick one of my photos, but I don't want people having access to the full size original.
I've just noticed the ability to down load the pictures as well - do you know if that is just for my benefit or can anyone download them?
Thanks,
Charlotte

Apart from one or two deliberate exceptions I don't upload files greater than 800 pixels across (or down depending on format). Partly to discourage theft, but largely because I'd rather resize them myself for display on fora rather than using Flickr's resizing algorithm.

Previously, if in your settings you disabled access to the original, the biggest size available to view by others was 1024 pixels wide. This has now changed and much bigger sizes than 1024 can be viewed.
This may increase image theft. I have gone into my display settings and set the max viewing size back to 1024. Hopefully, that puts things back to the way they were.
