It would help if you gave an idea of how you plan to use it .... What subjects, on or off camera, in which sort of situations. Plus some idea of your previous experience and use of flash previously. This will all make it easier to suggest specific products or entry points into different types of flash systems.

Will be for Portraits and Pet Photography McGregNi and will be generally on camera till i get used to the Pentax brand, I mainly take photo's for friends and family so not into making money or doing anything professional at the moment. I have done several weddings in the past with my Canon gear but don't want to jump into that again until i have some experience with the K-S2.

The Pentax AF540 and AF360 flashes are the usual midrange flashes to use on the system. These are fully compatible with most (and all modern) Pentax DSLRs.
Third party offerings by Sigma and Metz are also very competitive.

You will notice a big difference in choice in flash units for Pentax. Compared with the choices for Canon. Especially in off camera control... (Very very limited choice) If your looking to save money then a manual system would be the way to go.. Something like the Yongnuo 560iii or mark iv with the TX560 trigger, Which gives you remote setting of the flash unit. Ideal for when placed inside a softbox.
For Pttl I would choose the Yongnuo YN585EX. theres no logic in using Pentax flashes these days as they are expensive.

I agree on the Pentax models there. It sounds like you need on-camera P-TTL with bounce mainly, so I'd look out for a well priced Pentax AF-540FGZII ....discounts come around sometimes. If you're not working in large rooms then the 360 model might have enough power for your needs.

If inexpensive is the main point, the Sigma EF610 DG Super does fill the bill with all the bells and whistles. If you can deal with the awful interface.

My mom needed a flash for her KS2. She tried my Metz 52 but found it a bit too bulky and confusing. We thought we'd try the Metz 44 and it seems like a match made in heaven, size/weight wise for the KS2. It doesn't hurt that it's a great flash either. They have intuitive interface, consistent light and fantastic build quality. If the Metz 44 AF1 is within your budget, I would not hesitate. They seem to be a great medium way between cheap and cheerful and Pentax original.

I have a Metz 50 AF1, it is superb, less than 100quid used mint condition boxed, firmware updates etc, German!!! 😉
