I agree the first are ok. but i don't know about the tripod, in #3 the leaves in front are more in focus than the subject. Could be the camera is front focusing, or it auto focused on them instead of the Pigeon.

Yes, half the problem is the wind was blowing everything around so I was trying to focus in between the branches and the somewhat obese pigeon while they were swaying around lol
I didnt think the robin was a bad shot, allthough that and the pigeon were cropped, they were taken from quite a long distance with the lens set to 300mm.
The first 2 were slightly closer.

All were taken with my 70-300mm tamron.
Unfortunatly there was a rather strong cross wind which didnt help but this is what I managed to muster!
