First snow in Finnish Lapland

Here are few pics of my latest hike. I carried K5 + Samyang 14mm + DA40 + DFA 100mm macro and tripod with me four days. Weather was between clear, fog and snow rain.

Area were in Finnish Lapland and Norway. For example Barras in Norway and Malla wilderness area in Finland.

I had Samyang on the camera most of time, because there were so much wide landscapes. I really like Samyang. My copy is very sharp. I have to force myself to use other lenses too.

My lucky there were nice auroras about 20 minutes. Those were my first ones.

I particularly like No. 2, and would like to see it cropped even more to a letter-box, i.e. a little bit more off both top and bottom.

Great set and wonderful scenery. I especially like the first two. The Samyang 14mm has been on my "want-to-buy-in-the-future" list for some time now, it is interesting to see some wide landscapes with the lens.

Fletcher, I don't actually live in that area. I have to drive 1200 kilometers and hike one day, but it's worth for.

Björn, Samyang really is worth of every penny. I must admit that this copy is my 3rd. First two was not so good. If you'll buy it, be sure you are able to return or change it. Hope you'll find good copy.
