mmm, the colours are really nice.
Are you boosting them or do they come out of the camera like that?
Do like the second shot though ...
These are straight out of the camera, just cropped is all

Which body?
K20D according to EXIF. Which body?
Those are some very rich colours, and I love the 2nd shot, reminds me of the characters in A Bugs Life!
Very much an amateur.

Could you possibly do some with the K10D and post them unprocessed please.
I have only had my K10D a couple of months but now there is £100 cashback on the K20D I am sorely tempted.
Sure, I just need to get it back off my brother (hopefully in one piece) who is in nothern Aust on a FWD expedition. I loaned it to him (reluctantly) along with my smc f 70-210 & A50 1.7 Could you possibly do some with the K10D and post them unprocessed please.

Looking through my older pics i have to say the K20 does have that little extra pop to them. Whether or not its enough to justify an upgrade i will leave it to you.
I find live view handy but could easily live without it
I like the extra MPs it allows a little extra scope when cropping. (good for macro)
Plus other features which don't come immediately to mind.
The price of K20s is still coming down and the K10s are still getting pretty good money SH if you are planning on selling it. If you are going to sell it, i have noticed its worth selling it with the kit lens and make sure they are boxed with all the cables, manuals and software.
So with that 100quid cashback it may well be worth your while

Theres definately something about the photos that make them eye catching, I think I have noticed with my k20d that the colour rendition is alot nicer and more vibrant than the K100d straight out of camera (:

Don't forget that you have to buy a Pentax lens as well to get the £100 cashback, but I agree that it is tempting.

Yes indeed but I was thinking of replacing the kit lens with the MKII anyway so it would be a good time to do it Don't forget that you have to buy a Pentax lens as well to get the £100 cashback, but I agree that it is tempting.
I have until August to persuade the wife that I will get a good price for the K10D I suppose
