..with K20D
had time to go round the garden, in amongst my revision (gcse time of year)

All shot with FA50, yummy buttery bokeh

Some colourful flowers (I have zero flower knowledge so no name here.)

and a 100% crop.
Probably would have been better had it not been a silhouette, but it shows the quality, RAW straight out of camera at 100 ISO.

I'm looking forward to see what you can do with it using it in anger... You're off to a good start with these.

BTW: I know the feeling of having this new toy and no time to play around with it. I left school many summers ago, but when I got my K20D I was organiser of an international workshop and so had to wait 3 days to even get the box in my fingers...

Best of luck for your GCSE's then and good light for your new toy!

Think of all the free time you'll have to play with it once the exams are over! Looking forward to seeing some more photos.

Good luck with the GCSEs!

Love the colors and choice of DoF in the first - the planter/vase gives a lovely tone to the whole.

Looking forward to your post-exam photos!

BTW, did your shots from your big trip make it into a bit of a photo essay? I don't remember seeing more than a few photos here.

Cheers,
Keith

Like #2 tho as well. What's it look like in color?
