First shot with F* 300mm

Bought this lens recently (paid way over what I wanted to) after reading glowing reviews about it - specifically the fact that it has excellent performance at maximum aperture (most long lenses I have used tend to require stopping down a bit before they become really sharp). Here is a simple shot of a Dutch Iris in the garden - I'm not great at post processing (picasa only for this one), so I'm sure I haven't made the best of the photo, but to me it has a beautiful 'look', almost 3D. I have got through a lot of Pentax lenses on my quest for the ideal line-up, and it has now transformed to a selection that heavily favours F* & FA* lenses :)
