I've had my DA*300 for a few days now and I've already fallen head over heels in love with it (apologies to my wife Nicky)!

Here is a set of a few images taken with it, all are with the K-3 as it has been glued onto this body since I got it. I seems to just gel with my K-3 and hasn't missed a beat, focussing is spot on and pretty quick.

Hope you like, please comment if like or don't like.

Scruffy Great Tit

Apologies for the last one, I don't like images of birds on feeders and usually avoid taking them, but I have an excuse as I was testing the lens!

Best Wishes

Cheers Neil, been to Potteric Carr today, very little happening there, hence the Pheasant shots!

Hope you got some pics of the Peregrine and Marsh Harrier?

A very good set David. The last shot indicates the need for Hammerite, zinc primer or a new bird feeder?

Best regards

Great quality of images with that lens David. I think the colour rendition of the Tulip is superb and the detail on the close up of the Pheasant really has impact. I have the DA* 200 which I was going to sell, but since pairing it with the HD Pentax 1.4 TC, I have decided to keep the DA* 200 as it is a close as I am going to get to the DA*300 without spending £1000. I am really pleased with the New TC, is IQ is incredible.

Great shot of the tulip. You just need the new rear converter now for that bit extra reach

Each individual feather on the Great Tit is identifiable - it actually looks as though it is painted on there!
