Yes it is the EM140 and I'll bear that in mind, appreciate all your help and I wont hesitate to ask if I get stuck, its an interesting and very technical genre to get into.

Agreed, and I think the out of focus wings make the image. In a strange way it makes me think of some kind of a sci-fi spaceship.

From trial and error, i have found that you will need around 2 or 3 inches between the flash and whatever medium you use to diffuse it.
If there is anything that I can help with, feel free to ask.
