A good set, can only spot the kr by looking at the exif data.
No2 looks slightly under exposed, do not like the background on No 5 and 6.
But good examples of the capabilities of this lens.

The Starling for me!...a word of caution!...you have to keep an eye on your appertures!...the dof is very shallow @F5.6...you may not get the full bird in focus!....regards...Ken

Very nice shots

I wonder if you would use a slighty faster shutter speed if that would have helped getting sharper photos with some of these?

The noise is a bit more with the Kr in the background and the finer details appears better with the K5.

Comparing the background of No3 against No3 I can see that now.

Thanks Stefan, another reason to get the K5
Am doing my best to resist, but the sea is relentless.

yep it would Stefan but i was trying to keep my iso low for some reason , the light was changing a lot. Have'nt used my k5 for a while and found after using k-r the menu system takes a while to re adjust too , kept using one wheel

That set certainly gets the LBA happening! Nice work. Without peeking at the EXIF data, I'm guessing 5 or 8 as the K-r shot?

Excellent results with the new lens

The colour balance on the last two looks off... the birds
feet are too blue? Auto white balance gets a bit confused under
the green light of trees and uses Fluorescent
Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

Number 2 is also my favourite

Nice shots
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
