Hi, i like the last one. Primary colors and a interesting viewpoint. Maybe the reds of the rope could use some punch.
The first 3 seem a bit off focus, to my eyes.
Did you use a tripod or SR? Or maybe a tripod with SR switched on?
Keep on posting and taking pictures.
Regards,
Martin.

Hi callum and welcome to the forum.
Are you aware that you are saving your pics as a Gif : It would be advisable to save them as a Jpeg.
What program do you use to post process your pics : as you can probably see your pics are very noisy (hazy) it maybe because they are in gif format.
I was trying to access the exif info which tells us what camera settings you used to take the pic, its helpful so we can give advice on what you doing and how you can improve.
If you don't already have it get hold of a program such as Picasa2, its free and a very handy program for sorting and post processing and it also lets you upload your pics to the web (also free)
You have a very good camera and you can expect some excellent pics out of it, you just need to keep practising and experimenting.
Good luck and keep posting.

Still learning. The snowdrops pic was taken blind, camera at boot level and click! The pic of the tree bark seems a lot sharper in the original, all pictures were converted from RAW to GIF in Photoshop ImageReady. And yes the pic of the railing could have done with a tad more DOF.

Today was the first day I got to use my new camera in anger, after getting it for Christmas and some twenty years away from photography. A quiet stroll in the park with my K10D, 18-55 and a manual focus Sigma 70-210.
I'm not saying they're great, or even good for that matter, but practise I hope will make better!
