After a lovely week in the North East I seem to have ended up with a million pictures - well not quite - so here are the first two. Any commments most welcome.

With regards to the second one: Seeing the position of the sun, maybe some light could have been reflected into the bottom left hand corner of the shot. Makes me wonder where the path is! Off to the right? Maybe the path would be a good lead into the horizon... Good depth of field and the coastline leads the eye to the horizon - Still wonder about the path though...

That first picture is great.

Well composed and a good B&W conversion.

The second one doesn't hold my interest though, too much sky for me drawing my eye away from the 'Cleveland' stone. A square crop might help?

Problem with the sun on the East coast is you have to be up early to get any light on the cliff face, in this second pic its in the right place for the stone but the cliff face is in shadow, and the sky needs cropping to just above the clouds

Agree with Stefan on the B&W conversion though.
