I already have spoken to someone over there but it seems the camera is a recluse at the moment, wonder if hassy and phase one have strained production demands of the sensor. No word on expectancy either

What does that actually mean? Do you need to place an order to be put on a waiting list?
Best regards, John

It means srs have no idea when to expect the camera as Pentax have not reported delivery dates, I called up calumet and it was the same situation, ricoh's UK website say they are out of stock too. I'd rather not put myself on a waiting list and wait for weeks because its looking like it may be a bit of a long stretch. Does that answer your question?

If you're not on the waiting list it might be much longer before there's freely available stock.

I wonder if this is connected to you. I popped in on the off chance of a bargain but he said he'd just sold the last one an hour earlier, and was waiting for new stock

You don't get a FREE Film though even though the main
perspex sign above the shop says "FREE FILM with every camera"
he claims it doesn't apply to digital..... because when it was
put up in the 1950's they didn't foresee that one day there
would be such a thing as a digital camera. I've had that one
out with him before
