Bought a Pentax A 50mm f/2.8 Macro from a forum member (thanks LaPoder!), which arrived this morning. These are my first couple of shots (taken without a tripod :blush. It's fair to say I'm quite pleased!

Excellent first shots. The second one is a rather surreal! I'd crop the left and right closer to match the top and bottom and try and pull back the bright areas a little more.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks for the advice! I agree, I think it really lifts the shot and improves it

Good effort, it's a very good lens.

Nice shots from a very under-estimated lens. It has superb bokeh
wide open and is also very sharp.

Probably my favourite lens - it's uber-sharp and the understated colours it produces are wonderful, both of which are evident in your first shot. Bokeh's not bad either, eh?

I don't have the lens, but the images are very nice indeed!
