First hoverflies of the spring

A bit of sun this morning, albeit briefly, brought out my first hoverflies this year.

I have to say Mike that it doesn't look like a Common Wasp in your picture. It could be a species of Wasp, but Common Wasps don't have antennae like the one in your pic. Wasps have quite hairy faces too (see link below)!

Anyway, regardless of the species your shot is fab, as are the ones by Milamber.
