This is a very nice lens, Gareth. The bokeh looks lovely in some shots but a bit busy in no.3. 35mm is, I find, a useful focal length.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Some lovely DOF effects ... It has a sort of ' fluffy ' feel ... If that makes any sense! Nice punchy colours as well, and yes, I can see the contrast qualities coming through also.

Nice to see some old manual lenses. I want to see what the Pentacon does.

Thanks all. It certainly is a special little lens and well worth looking out for in charity shops, boot sales etc. On eBay the Flektogon is demanding prices well over £100
David, I was rained off but hopefully I'll be playing with the 50mm today

The 135mm is being sold on, sticky aperture blades but I'm keeping the other two lenses.
I had a Flektogon 35mm before and it's an amazing lens, so versitile, contrasty and has a great close focus ability (circa 10cm!) Unfortuantly, the lens aperture isn't working so it's being shipped off to the lens repairer on Monday to be fixed and serviced so all these images are taken wide open @ f2.4 with no stop down at all.
1. Bush
2. Alpine flower (About 1cm wide)
3. Grass at a distance to show the bokeh
4. At it's closest focusing. Same grass as in no.3
5. Another bit of grass
6. Strawberries. Focus on middle strawberry
Tomorrows play is the the 50mm
