Firmware Update Software for PENTAX Q

Has anyone done this? just done mine but am having problems with the filmwire update for the 01 Standard Prime lens and the 02 Standard Zoom

I updated my Q body and 01 prime as soon as I got them a while ago I did the body update first without the lens, just the body cap on. Then I turned it off and then on again and reformatted the card in the camera. I then downloaded the 01 update onto the reformatted card and put the card into the camera and the 01 prime into the camera. I turned on the camera, scrolled across the spanner menu to the lens update part and updated the lens. I reformatted the card again after making sure the update was recognised.

I made sure the battery was fully charged before I started and that I needed the updates. All seems OK so far.

I have not got the 02 yet

A friend of mine has managed to put the 01 and 02 new firmwire onto the sd card for me,so my Q is now all updated
