Firecrests

Fantastic!
I have yet to see a Firecrest, although I believe there are a couple of spots close to me that have a good number of them. I see plenty of Goldcrests flitting about through the low foliage, usually while sitting watching the local Kingfishers and they too are quite difficult to photograph.

@ eenymac, these were near Weston Turville reservoir so close enough for you! This one was shot on the footpath and to start with I had to take 2 steps back as he was too close to focus on!
Had him around for 30 sec or so which I now know is around 29.5 sec longer than normal!

These are great shots Danny, we get Goldcrests in a Pine Tree in our garden, but I cannot get close enough to get a decent shot so far.

I have a few in the garden and watch them, along with the Goldcrests going for bugs on my window frames.
Maybe some treacle on a few branches to keep them still for a moment or two would be useful - they just do not stop.
