Nice set of pics. Was at centre parcs a couple of weeks back but the weather was a bit wet and cold for any decent photos. Rufford Abbey is very close to the Sherwood Forest one, and some quite good photo opportunities there.

Very 'pin-sharp', impressive captures, and the little creatures all look very engaged (No 5 focus is fractionally off isn't it?)
I like the way you have limited the contrast range, despite the conditions, which is right for this type of subject I think. Only thing is, I wonder if they are a little over-exposed, just 1/3rd - 1/2 a stop?

Very nice shots George. I think there is mounting evidence that the K-3 is a good tool for wildlife photography and produces very sharp and detailed results, particularly with the DA*300. I can't wait until I have a bit of time off from house renovations to do a bit of wildlife stuff with mine.

I believe you are right re the focus in 5, the overexposure was my pp in lightroom as they looked a little dark on my PC, however they look to light on my laptop ! time to calibrate the monitor I think. No 5 focus is fractionally off isn't it?

The level of detail is impressive, these are all cropped to one degree of other. I'm looking forward to see what results are available with the new TC as that is on my want list.I think there is mounting evidence that the K-3 is a good tool for wildlife photography and produces very sharp and detailed results, particularly with the DA*300.
