I do indeed, Mat.The last one being my favourite.
How did you achieve the look of these images?
I find the tonal range v. interesting. There seems to be a big jump between the highlights, which are really sparky, & the darker tones. The "upper/middle" greys seem to be missing(?). The slight colour temperature difference is interesting, too.
Am I missing the point. Or what's going on here?
Roger.
P.S.
Hang on, is this ring flash?

The more I look, the more there is to see!

Roger. Many thanks - you are right! (good spot) - I was using a ringflash. I was hoping (maybe optimistically) to find some bugs but I fear I was in the park a little too early (or else my 'bug-eyes' were not quite firing on all cylinders). Suffice to say I couldn't find any but found these plants instead.
I've also had a bit of a play in PP so the slight colour differences will be down to my colourization (is that a word?) of the B/W images with Photoshop. In general I have processed the pics as I normally would, then converted to B/W, added a vignette, boosted the contrast and slightly lifted the highlights, and colourized with a blu-ish tint (mainly)

The processing really makes these shots, they almost look as though they are sculptures in steel. Well done.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

As above Mat. Some good work. Again, the last two are stand outs.
Best regards

A bold and different take on the subject, something sci-fi about them. Strange gathering is my pick.

Brilliant! I'll have to have a go at that...blatant copying got me where I am today! Strange Gathering and Ball and Wall are my faves.
