I met these fellas during a walk around a friend's place in Normandy. They were not very talkative, but we reached an understanding, I think.

A nice set and I like the use of borders.

The last one has an almost sinister snake like head and neck look about it. Does anyone else see that?

The second one also appears to have a dragon or griffin type head look down the post.

I see both of them

The 2 you've highlighted are my top two also. Nice set

Very worthy for the gallery. Get them on there!

Very different to much of what we've seen from you previously Serge The tonal range hasn't really allowed for your usual processing skills to be displayed, but still a worthy set - thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for your comments. The patterns were what attracted me, snake and gryffin head foremost! I had fun taking the photos but I knew I'd have to rely heavily on pp to coax a bit of life into them - it was a very drab day indeed (and we were headed home early the next morning, so no going back in better light).
