I rather like that. The DOF gives it a 3-D quality, and the scene has a timeless quality about it thanks to the lack of anything man-made in sight.

However, it looks a little greeny-yellowy on my screen.

Indeed, but I was referring to more than the gramineal chromaticism.

So what is your best ever Scrabble score? Gramineal is another cracker. My dictionary (COED) had graminaceous, but not that. Chromaticism is not even in the same league.

Apart from the grass, what looks too green/yellow to you?

The horse looks a bit jaundiced, and the sky a bit green. But both are only slight.

PS: Graminaceous is a bit florid, in my view. Gramineal is a modest, unassuming, little adjective.

Thanks for so praised and kind words. I feel myself very fortunate and lucky doing this as my daily job.

And about the scene green and yellowish colors, this is pure nature whim…(and monitor calibration).

Lilly, San José de Chasquivil is one of the places I fly daily and is at no more than 25 nautical miles from home (15 minutes flight).

This image was taken in September 26 (24 days before the above image) and prior the first rains.
