Not really, the 100/2.8A has escaped me although I am probably more tempted with one of the macro versions. In the end, it depends on what sort of photography you do and how you use them that matters. I do much less wildlife these days so The longer lenses get used a lot less and I find I use the wides much more.

My favourite prime ATM is my Tamron 90mm F2.5, which is so good I love it dispite my lack of success so far in getting it an A series adaptall mount.

SMC-A series 50/1.7 comes in a close second, and is better indoors

I'm also playing around with a Tamron 300 F5.6 which I picked up for a song on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. Considering the price I paid for it, it performs pretty well.
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help

In order of affection/respect:

77, K 50 1.2, F* 300 4.5, FA 100 2.8 macro

In order of most frequent use:

31, 77, F 50 1.4, FA 20 2.8

But the 16-50 seems to be rendering the 20 redundant. Not so the 31, which is just too good.

My 43 gets little use, but I don't really want to part with it. I only wish I had owned it while I still shot film.

George, your 31mm is "just too good", yet you have no respect or affection for it?

Dan
K-3, a macro lens and a DA*300mm...

I can understand George's comment. There are times when only performance matters and in that respect the 31 is a superb lens. However, usability and convenience are more important, the 31 is a big and "clunky" lens. Great performer but not as nice to use as either the 43 or 71.

Exactly, Kim. Not much affection, but bags of respect. It didn't miss the first list by much.

50mm 1.4's, 85mm soft focus, 10-17mm fisheye, 28-70 f4, 28-200.
love 'em in that order. use the 28-200 most followed by the 28-70. 50mm's close third.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

No i didn't the thieves decided that my bag with the video camera and point and shoot camera was more appealing to them than my K10 bag and lenses. Go figure
