Reticulation only occurs on film

I used the rear of the camera as a guide figuring the sensor is within a centimetre of the rear of the body.
There's a mark on the K-5 for the sensor position. It's the same
as on all film cameras an "O" with a line through it "--"
All measurements need to be from there and you need to go to
RH site again and follow the procedure exactly.

The marks on the right side of the camera by the LCD. It
almost lines up with a line on the LCD.

What a beautiful baby. That 2nd shot looks reticulated, but I thought you only got that with emulsion film. Anyone out there able to clarify this for me. Does digital do reticulation?
Looks like good old high ISO noise to me.

Oops. Cheers gartmore. Sorry I meant Reciprocity failure not Reticulation. Do you get Reciprocity failure with digital? Is that what noise is and how do you counter it? Anybody?
As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

I don't think we do - the response is linear. However, if the exposure is very long we may start to get noise as the sensor heats up.
