All Pentax A series and later (F, FA, D-FA, DA, and their * variants) lenses work as intended on Pentax DSLR's. Only the Pre-A series (M & K) have exposure issues on some bodies.
If it's got an 'A' on the aperture ring, or no aperture ring at all, it'll work.

Just an additional point:
Make sure the aperture on the lens is set to the "A" position. Then everything will work just fine
(If you manually set the aperture on the lens then the same restrictions as working with an "M" series lens apply - you have to use stop-down-metering, and enable a custom function.)

I understand it is an auto focus lens, though I'm not sure it will work with contemepory digital bodies.
Thanks in advance (1st post here!)
