Selling this teleconverter, as I no longer have a lens that fits it!

Cosmetically and optically excellent condition. Supplied with both caps. The front cap has chips taken out of the lugs (I have no idea why) but it fits and works as it should.

This teleconverter is designed for certain sigma lenses only as the element protrudes slightly, and the locking mechanism is slightly off the standard position. However this fitted and locked onto my fa80_200 perfectly. I also discovered fitting this to the k series lenses I had would make that lens act like an a series lens with aperture control enabled on the body. I tested extensively and can confirm it was stopping down the lenses. I just had to dial in -1.7 ev to get the correct exposure. However the teleconverter did not lock in place on those lenses. Anyway I'm waffling lol...Looking for £80 posted via RMSD. Pics to follow shortly

Here are the pics, I have included shots of how the teleconverter works with an "M" or "K" lens. I have used this converter on 3 different manual aperture lenses. Pentax K 200 2.5, Pentax M 75-150 4 and an old generic 200 3.5 (I think it was a Hoya) I have also used in combination with 3 bodies, K511s, K3 and a Ks2. Im not normally that lucky for it to be a fluke, but obviously I cant guarantee it will work on every combo (though i see no reason for it not to) Please note the teleconverter did not lock into position on any of these lenses. Of course you could always use it for the Sigmas it's intended for

Good God Neil! I think your K-3 is related to mine, does it have the tendency to suicidally throw itself on the floor (usually hard, thus breaking the flash) as mine does?...

Lol Peter! On this occasion, the damage was from a previous owner. One of my bargain buys although admittedly I now have a gaping flaw in pentax weather sealing...
