You won't regret it, Bruce. The MX-1 is frustrating to use in many ways but the images are lovely and consistently so.
I'm amazed there was no follow-up version. I'd be happy to provide Ricoh with the specs.!

Received it today! What a nice little camera! Meticulously packed, quickly delivered, and in tip top condition - the cool case, spare batteries, and SD card are all appreciated. I'm surprised and delighted with the good quality of image that the MX-1 creates.

I am sorry that my first post is about selling but I am not in the game anymore...
I have bought my Pentax MX-1 two years ago to take pictures of my mountain trips... but it appears that I am more into climbing than into photography (shame on me).
I am not using it so its time to find some new home for it.
