Have you tried the PhotoMerge tool that is loaded with Microsoft's Live Photo Gallery app? It will allow you to blend this kid into the shot.

The clients were resigned to the fact that we'd only get 6 children in when the 7th decided to take part - Hooray! But, he wouldn't get right in with the others and just stood on the periphery. He's in a couple of shots, but too far away from the others to make a nice portrait.
Foolishly I said, "It's okay, as I can move him over later using Photoshop!"
I spent a long time doing PP and I think next time I won't be volunteering my Photoshop services - I'll just agree that he won't be in the pic!
This is why I prefer sports photography - the action just happens and you record it then and there.
Has anyone else had experiences of extra PP for someone else that you've brought upon yourself.
If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough.
