Experimental piece. criticisms?

here's the pros and cons:
con: testing uncharted waters....no way to know for sure if this will be the next big ticket item.
no way to know if drop in sales due to lack of understanding of what the product is, inroads from big chain stores offering cheap grad photos, or lack of interest in product. (rember this product is a reaction to changes in my market).
Pro: could catch on like wildfire.
good word of mouth being generated (each client this year is walking around with a 16x20 asking all thier friends to sign it...free advertizing for us!).
makes our offering harder to resist(and/or replicate), as the old style portrait gets done as part of the deal.
ask me again in two years when we've thouroughly run this.
