EXIF Info Absenteeism

I was out yesterday shooting planes in and around Seattle with K10D and a couple of lenses (DA 16-45mm and FA 80-320mm).

Most were on continuous focus, and I leave the camera on continuous frame drive mode. Recorded format was PEF. When I check the images with the card in the camera, the information is there: f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, and so on. But when I view the images in Pentax Photo Browser, the EXIF data fields are blank, and windows explorer also comes up empty.

Any ideas on where the EXIF info has gone?

Are you viewing converted jpg's or the original PEF files in photobrowser ?
Cheers
Brian.

I'm viewing the original PEF's in PhotoBrowser. This is without copying them to the PC first, but using the card reader.

What version of PhotoBrowser are you using? v3.1 should work fine.
Windows explorer will not show the exif info as it cannot read the PEF files
Is the information there when you convert to JPG?
Old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.
