EXIF data

EXIF data is automatically embedded in the picture when you take it - so unless you've specifically done something to take it out, it's there (it isn't visible on the image itself).

You should however note that when you export the resized version of your photo it is possible to strip the exif (for instance with Photoshop's 'save for web' function).
Also on Flickr the resized versions have exif stripped as well, even though the full-size version will retain the exif. Facebook does the same. Don't know about photobucket.
Lots of people just type the Exif in when they submit a competition photo. We're a trusting bunch

Hey Rosco
I thought the surname was Coltrain (with an l). At least that is what Boss Hogg told me!

Damn and blast... you beat me to it. I hadn't seen this when I posted this.Hey Rosco

But it's 'Coltrane'
I loved that series. Completely predictable in every respect, utterly silly, and it had Catherine Bach. The movie was dreadful in comparison.
