Ever played Paintball

My son had his 21st birthday on Saturday and arranged for a day at Paintball with a group of family and friends.

I Volunteered to go in armed with only my K20 and the DA 50-135, although that did'nt stop them from shooting me on a number of occasions

Great lens and didn't let me down.

My nephew who took a fierce beating

Great setup, with crashed helicopters, planes and buses

I took a direct hit to the hood of my lens, knocked the little door out, but i found it and no damage done, thankfully.

BTW those paintball pellets hurt like hell. My nephew again after vounteering to defend the fort to his last shot. He was a little sick and sorry afterwards as his wounds will attest. OUCH

A great day was had by all.

Beachboy,

Unless Steve can be used as a girl's name I doubt it is Clarky on that photo No 5 .

I'm sure that young lady wouldn't be happy that you think she could have a 21 year old son!

On a different subject and I hope clarky doesn't mind me using his thread, how close from SRS are you? I think I saw you around the corner from there the other day when I dropped by at SRS

That last one brought back painful memories of my one-and-only paintballing adventure - took weeks for the lumps to settle back down!

Good shots Clarky, but you're a braver man than I taking your equipment in there

Number 6.....remind me NEVER to go paintballing

Was your choice of body and lens deliberate? ie: so you could rinse the paint off later

Ruddy hell, that looks painfull.
I bruise if I bump into a pillow so I think I will stay away from that one.

I love paintball!!! It's waaaayyy cheaper than therapy.... just bring yer kids! (well the older ones anyways, we do lasertag with the lil ones!)

I may have a home movie if you want I could post a clip and a link!
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Hey....! If I recall correctly he did practice a time ago with a "Roo", in
a small confined space. So he knew his equipment would survive.

Sorry Clarky

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Thanks guys it was a very fun day and very funny in parts also, I recommend it to anyone

The K20 DA50-135 combo was deliberate, it was overcast with a bit of rain, so all the weather sealing came in handy.

What I didn't count on was peaple using me as a shield thinking they wouldn't get shot as I was wasn't armed. Wrong on that count
I spent more time trying to get away from people to protect myself

And thats not me in No5 either Its my daughter.

Pete, The paintballs are very painful and if hit in the right place they can draw blood

My daughter got hit in the bare neck and I spent 15mins wiping away the tears, and trying not to laugh

Lets see your home movie Don

Thanks Martin, I will never live that down.
