Evening skies

Lots of photographic promise in the late evening recently, with contrasting skies to the east and west. Got to make the most of the long days at this time of year! All taken with K-1 + FA 28-105. All comments welcome as always.

1 & 6 really pack a punch - looking almost surreal in light and colour. Yet the set as a whole has the gentle feeling of a subtle daydream.

All lovely and great post processing but the opening horse images for me are the stand out images

Thanks for your comments, all. I wasn't sure how the horse in the field would be received, so I'm pleased about that! It was quite stunning to see the warm light in such as 7, 8 and 9, then turn round and see the threatening sky coming up behind!

I'm not sure what reservations you would have about the Horse in the field shots John, they are superb - almost look as though they are taken with fill-in flash. The colours, lighting and compositions are so simple and effective.

Nail on the head, there, John - I did lighten up the foreground a little in pp and wondered if I had overdone it, particularly in the first one. Needless to say, reactions to it seem to suggest not. Thanks for your observation!

Wonderful selection, from the threatening feel of number 2 to the (evening?) tranquility of 7. I can't say that I prefer any one over the others.
