Very stylish, Nigel. Some of these would really suit a mono conversion, I reckon.
Best wishes,
Andrew

There s is one in here Nigel that stands head and shoulders (excuse the pun) above the rest and that one is number 4. I appreciate the humour in these shots, but I appreciate the image of the fourth one even more, it really does hit home. It's the framing, the isolation from the background and the sharp incisive nature that attracts me.

David

You see, that's why I love reading comments on here. There s is one in here Nigel that stands head and shoulders (excuse the pun) above the rest and that one is number 4. I knew I loved number 4, but couldn't have articulated it like that.
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Thankyou Algi, glad you like them, and I don't even mind if they raise the odd chuckle here and there. These are great especially No. 4 Looks like the shops

You're right, I'm lucky with the lighting around there, almost like having a studio set up professionally for me! I do have to choose the angle carefully to avoid reflections, so I will gladly claim some credit for the results. The ability of the lens does amaze me (its a 40 year old / £40 item! ), and I have only minimal contrast enhancing work in order to remove all signs of the windows completely.

Thanks Andrew, and thanks to all who have commented here ... Sorry I've been diverted with extension tube issues!
I'll try a couple on mono, any ideas which ones would suit it best? No4 is the clear favourite ... I was a bit unsure with this one as if was a but duller in the lighting and I thought it was too dark, but I shouldn't have worried! Thanks again for all your replies.

No.5 might be good as the blue scarf is a bit of a distraction.
Best wishes,
Andrew
