Espresso

Maybe I'm trying to run before I can walk here, but thought I'd have another play with the 70mm Macro.
Very Cliché, but nice to learn the technique, so perhaps can get more creative in future.

It's actually a composite of 2 images, 1 drop from each shot included.

Blistering shot RR. I tried to get something similar with high speed multiple exposure, but not much joy.

I only spent about 5 mins shooting after setting up. I actually found it quite easy to time. I just pressed the shutter when the drop started to fall & reviewed the result. Just a matter of altering the height where I left the drop go to try & sync things up, once thereabouts I was catching about a third of shots.

Trying to get the drop in the focus plane was the hardest bit. I drive a crane at work so am pretty good at judging positions in 3 dimensions.
For a proper setup I think you'd have to fix the drop point.
