espio 928

My Espio 928 starts to zoom when I push the 'On'-button. Stops completely when it's fully zoomed in, lefting me with an 'U7' error code. And I lost my user manual. How can I put my pretty little camera on the road again?

I have the same problem as ulpia., my Espio928 is giving me an error code of U7 with the zoom fully extended and the shutter locked open. Does anyone have an asnwer?

The 928 is a great camera but a permanently displayed error code means it has developed a fault and needs to go in for repair. The cost will be around £50 and you could probably pick up a replacement for that!
I had no qualms sending my Espio 120 in for repair but the choice is yours.
