well - all photos have been taken with at least K10 at top quality in jpeg - so pretty large files anyway - i don't know if you can check that size from photos on the gallery - but i am not convinced that's the explanation, but i can be wrong ... thanks for answering anyway ! Derbyshire = where is that in England ? (i am a ... froggy ?)

Photos in the gallery will only go full size if they exceed I think 1000 pixels, so I would check your sizing.
1000 pixels on the shortest side at 72ppi should do it.

Its not an issue of the size of the jpeg that you shot with but the size that you resized to before posting on the gallery.
I am assuming that you did resize? Otherwise you will be uploading massive files.
Derbyshire is right in the centre of England really and has the peak District national Park in it. It is also near Nottingham (Robin Hood)

in fact, i am not resizing anything: i upload staright as they are ... the last one was 3.34 Mo ... those from k7 over 10 Mo ; and i am afraid i tried to zip them but it hardly does anything on jpeg as you all know ! so ...

j'ai trouvé ! what a silly thing ... (english) machines don't like accents on letters in titles - like château - hé - i took them off, and it seems to work now ... not very usefull, i agree, except for non-english people !!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
