I'm impressed, well done. The 50-200mm is a super lens. I have the Samsung badged version, £50'ish from Jacobs. I used it almost exclusively on a recent trip to Whipsnade Animal Park. My other lens was a 16-50 DA* . . . which stayed in the bag most of the time.
EDIT: The Samsung lens is now listed at £149.99 on Jacobs web site.

Hi Peter
I used the 50-200 Samsung lens and the kit 18-50mm I think the shots in the church were the 50-200mm as I was quite a way back. I also took quite a few others with the 50-200mm also.
As I said the image quality on the web is very very poor compared to my PC full res shots and some of the prints are excellent. I can't wait to get the DA 16-50mm.
Cheers Pete

Nice collection (and I appreciate that these are compressed; you sound a bit traumatised pointing that out all the time ). If you're not very careful you will start enjoying shooting weddings...
Well done!

You're such a wag, Brian. How about this then, if you don't have one you cannot pass on this bargain....
I expect Jacobs bought all their 49.99 stock from Currys.

Looks like the world and his wife have been unable to pass up this bargain also. I'ts unavailable for home delivery and I can't find a store in London, Essex, Kent or Surrey with it in stock for collection. Anyone know of any local stock?

I've tried this before with a similar lack of success.
It makes you wonder whether there is any stock in existence. If there is no stock, any price you like could be advertised.
There was availablity at £49.99 at Jacobs until relatively recently.
Try the Jessops clearance stores - the price there has been around £107.00
