What I got with the K20 was something pretty useless for RAW conversions, so I didn't even bother to spend a lot of time with it.
The only thing I found useful was the tethering software that I had a go with it a few times, but its too much of a hassle specially with a single core laptop. But if I had a faster laptop it certainly would be great. I had managed to link it with Lightroom while doing some water drops and it was great, with the exception that it was taking too long to transfer so I didn't try again.

Al, that link you put up doesn't allow me to view the image. it says I don't have permission to view the image
Presumably they all come with the same software. My Dixons/Newcastle Airport GX20 software says "Powered by SilkyPix Developer Studio 3.0". There should be a screenshot of the interface here: link
Haven't used the "proper" Silkypix so I can't make any useful comparison but the Samsung version seems pretty fully featured.

Amin - it sounds like you still had the rubbish "Pentax" version with 500 windows floating all over the place. Maybe Samsung decided it was too much trouble messing about, suggested they just put "Samsung" where Silkypix goes, and somone in Ichikawa Soft Laboratory (for it is they wot wrote it) said, "Yeah, whatever..." without really thinking about it. I've checked the legal stuff and the license agreement is with Ichikawa, not Samsung.

If the software included in the GX20s are exactly as the Silkypix version one then I am sure some owners who don't need it might perhaps want to sell or trade it? . Is that illegal? Hope its not because I have seen some members selling the PS Elements version that came bundled with other stuff and they didn't need to use it.

100% illegal! From the license agreement: "12 You are permitted to use, and not sell, the product." And they go on to cover renting, distributing etc. I work for an IT company and this is usually how it's done, i.e. you have a license that entitles you to use their software. The common misconception is that you "own" the product, but ownership and copyright resides with the vendor.

Ok, am I allowed to receive it from a friend if he doesn't use it and wants to give it to me?

I think the Samsung one has been rigged to do DNG only. But Pentax users can shoot in DNG or use the free Adobe DNG converter to turn your PEF into DNG!

I can't find any mention of PEFs in the help files, but then again DNG is mentioned only a couple of times -- they refer to raw files. Don't have any PEFs to test, I'm afraid. The help files say this:
