Anyone who gets the chance should go to the Fringe event even if yo do not go to any of the shows the chance for street Photography is great.
Last but not least my Scottie boys who at times brought the street to a stand still, I was taking a picture of the Sir Walter Scott Memorial near the train station when I turned around and found a dozen people stood taking pictures of my dogs, we had loads of people ask if we had been at the opening of the Commonwealth Games.

Nice set. I'm there on Sunday, so just hoping for reasonable weather. It's a bit like Whitby Goth weekend for street photography, only more diverse.

Can I ask, where is the viaduct in the picture with your dogs?

Those cracking Scotties look they're visiting the Borders, with Leaderfoot Bridge (Viaduct) near Melrose in the background. It's a rail bridge over the River Tweed. I was brought up in that neck of the woods. Great to see it again.

Thanks, I've driven past it a hundred times and never seen it. Might be something to do with the speed cameras around there.

Interesting set. Has me wanting to think of an excuse to head that way. Struggling to come up with one at the minute.

I do not need an excuse to go to Melrose as my partner rents a space in the antique centre there and we are up there a couple of times a month
The viaduct is impressive but for the best view around there head for Scotts view just up up the road it is superb.
There is caravan site in the centre of Melrose which is very handy.
The Ribble Head viaduct was mega impressive when we went there a couple of days ago when we were based in Hawes
