Well, I'll certainly be checking it out! I can't resist lenses, if anyones noticed I do tend to accumulate them....
What I am looking for is a nice 50mm A series lens, if anyone wants to offer me one I'm listening! (It would be more user friendly on my new *istDS)

Ok all, the lenses are up there now (it's been a mad mad week and had hoped to get them posted earlier).
There's a Sigma 70-300, a Pentax SMC-F 35-70 and a Pentax SMC-F 28mm/f2.8
(So sad to see them go but they don't get nearly enough use these days. I'm sure someone can find them a good home )

G'day Matt.
Will you post to Australia?
Also...You wouldn't have a grip strap FDp for a Z-1 laying around some where that you would part with?
Hooroo.

So sorry Trevor... don't think that's possible If I can find a cost effective way, I'll let you know.
Ah, the elusive grip. Again, sorry but I haven't got one of those either.

Someone has put up an SMC-F autofocus 50mm/f1.7 up:

(I have this lens, and it's razor sharp, especially with an HMC Pro 1 UV filter on )

Glad to report I've finally managed to find that nice 50mm, actually a SMC Pentax-A 50mm f2, lovely condition, and the right price because it was listed as a Chinon CM4s body and the lens attached to it was only in there in the small print....
I was beginning to think I wouldn't find one, because the A series lenses seem to be commanding high prices just now. I suspect DSLR users are finding that a relatively fast 50mm does rather nicely as a portrait lens, and also offers splendid quality for a low (ish) outlay!
Actually, an equivalent to a 75mm lens is quite a useful short tephoto for landscape work as well.

Well just so you know, i have one pz-1p with the grip+ the strap, and another pz-1p without. Its the extension itself that makes all the difference- the strap is "ok" but feels awkward to me. It reminds me of the strap you would see on a camcorder or the like.
I still have the strap and will never use it... if someone wants it, email me at [email protected] and within reason i will mail it for a small charge(enough to cover UPS or similar shipping).
Art Smith Newburgh NY .
PS - if anyone knows where to get another handgrip please email at the same above address.
Thanks

I'm currently thinning out my gadgets and lenses. There's a load of filters, some Pentax Extension Tubes, an M42-K mount adaptor. I will be adding an SMC Pentax lens or two (sad to see them go), and a Sigma telezoom later in the week.
